Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality APIs and microservices to support decentralized applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand API requirements.
• Implement best practices for API security, testing, and documentation.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and enhancing code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in a timely manner, advocating for continuous improvement.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation and maintenance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for enhancements to our API infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on API development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, as well as API management tools.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
