About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer III – Systems Integration to join Client’s Human Agentic Review Platform onboarding pod. This role focuses on integrating new and acquired products into Client’s existing Scaled Review Tooling (SRT) systems, ensuring that new systems work seamlessly within established platforms and compliance frameworks.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in backend software engineering, system integration, API development, and production-quality code, with proficiency in Hack, Python, and Java. You will build and configure review pipelines, integrate new systems into existing infrastructure, and collaborate closely with engineering teams and cross-functional partners to deliver reliable solutions within established project timelines.

This is an opportunity to contribute to integration initiatives involving Client’s Superintelligence Lab and newly acquired products. Candidates with previous experience at Client or other large technology companies, particularly those familiar with complex backend systems and platform integrations, are especially encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

System Integration & Product Onboarding

  • Integrate new and acquired products into Client’s existing platforms and Scaled Review Tooling (SRT) systems.
  • Manage integration requests from internal teams and cross-functional organizations.
  • Configure and implement end-to-end review pipelines, including intake, case management, and enforcement workflows.
  • Adapt existing integrations to accommodate evolving systems, APIs, and platform requirements.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure new systems function reliably within the existing technical environment.

Backend Development & API Engineering

  • Develop, configure, test, and maintain production-quality software using Hack, Python, and Java.
  • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integration components that support interconnected systems.
  • Apply software engineering best practices to improve code quality, maintainability, reliability, and performance.
  • Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Support integration testing and validation to ensure functionality and compatibility across systems.

Platform Integration & Compliance Alignment

  • Integrate systems from Client’s Superintelligence Lab and newly acquired products into established platforms.
  • Ensure integrations align with existing compliance frameworks, technical standards, and platform requirements.
  • Work with existing system architectures and internal tools to implement solutions that meet defined requirements.
  • Maintain and update integrations as platform capabilities, workflows, and dependencies change.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, technical leads, and cross-functional partners throughout the integration process.
  • Coordinate requirements, technical dependencies, implementation details, and delivery timelines.
  • Communicate technical challenges, progress, and proposed solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work effectively within a small engineering pod to deliver assigned projects within a six-month contract timeline.
  • Learn internal tools and platforms quickly and contribute hands-on engineering support with minimal ramp-up time.

Must Have Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, backend development, solution engineering, or systems integration.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience integrating different systems, applications, or services into existing platforms.
  • Strong programming experience in Hack, Python, and Java.
  • Experience developing, testing, and maintaining production-quality backend software.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, backend services, and system integration concepts.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues and resolving integration or software reliability challenges.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and non-engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and contribute effectively within tight project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience at Client is a significant advantage but is not required.
  • Experience at large technology companies such as Google, Microsoft, or comparable organizations.
  • Experience integrating newly acquired products, external applications, or new services into established platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance-related systems, review workflows, or platform governance requirements.
  • Experience working with distributed backend services, API-driven architectures, and complex enterprise systems.
  • Experience working within small engineering teams or pods with a technical lead and time-sensitive deliverables.
