Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of software development methodologies. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Develop and maintain applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or C++.
• Collaborate with software engineers, business analysts, QA testers, and project managers.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
• Maintain technical documentation and application specifications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and project reviews.
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure software security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C#, C++, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, or Angular.
• Knowledge of back-end frameworks such as Spring Boot, .NET, Django, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud platforms, and microservices.
• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
