Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable system architectures to support high availability and performance requirements.
• Monitor and analyze capacity metrics to inform system optimization and scalability improvements.
• Work closely with development teams to understand application demands and adjust infrastructure accordingly.
• Implement automation for capacity management, including deployment processes and system monitoring solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve capacity-related issues in production environments.
• Document system design and workflows to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system health and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly focusing on capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong understanding of monitoring tools and techniques for performance metrics, including Grafana itself.
• Ability to analyze system design and identify potential scalability issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
