Position Overview

The Software Engineer for Portal Integration & API at EvenUp will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our integration platforms and APIs. Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs in alignment with best practices and architecture requirements.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to create scalable and efficient portal integrations.
• Monitor and optimize existing APIs for performance and security enhancements.
• Troubleshoot issues with integrations and APIs, providing timely resolutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards.
• Document APIs and integration processes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on API and integration development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API management tools and protocols such as REST and SOAP.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL.
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).

Technologies & Tools
