Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) on blockchain platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to gather requirements and produce technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to the team’s continuous improvement efforts.
• Implement smart contracts using Solidity or other relevant programming languages.
• Ensure the security and performance of blockchain applications through rigorous testing and debugging.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging blockchain technologies and DeFi trends, integrating them into applications when appropriate.
• Document processes and create user manuals for end users and stakeholders.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience, with a focus on blockchain technology and DeFi.
• Proficient in smart contract development languages such as Solidity, Vyper, or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of blockchain technology including Ethereum and other decentralized platforms.
• Solid understanding of cryptography principles and security vulnerabilities in blockchain systems.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will utilize a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Ethereum blockchain, Solidity, Truffle Suite, Hardhat, React.js, Web3.js, and various testing frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with CI/CD tools, is advantageous. You will also work with database technologies including SQL and NoSQL options to ensure optimal application performance.
