Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing best practices for reliability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response mechanisms for production systems.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure system reliability and performance during deployment cycles.
• Automate operational processes using Python and other scripting languages to improve efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis of production incidents to mitigate future risk and improve system design.
• Play a key role in capacity planning, forecasting, and system performance analysis.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in cloud infrastructure and SRE methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with other programming/scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure services, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
