Software Engineer

Location: San Francisco Downtown - 5 days/week in-office (highly collaborative culture)

We're building the software infrastructure platform that will power all of post-acute health.

Healthcare remains one of the least automated industries in the world. We're building AI systems that eliminate administrative work for clinicians and healthcare organizations, allowing them to spend more time on patient care. This is one of the largest opportunities for applied AI over the next decade.

We're looking for an product engineer who enjoys building systems end-to-end - from designing backend architecture to shipping customer-facing features. You'll work across our platform, owning major product areas and helping define the technical direction of the company as we scale.

This is a high-ownership role where you'll have meaningful influence over both engineering and product decisions. You'll work closely with the founders, often times directly meeting with customers.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and operate production systems used daily by over 100 healthcare organizations
• Own features end-to-end, from architecture through deployment and monitoring
• Build reliable backend services, APIs, and workflows that support customer-facing applications
• Work closely with product and customers to understand problems and rapidly ship solutions
• Improve engineering quality through testing, observability, and operational excellence
• Use modern AI development tools to increase engineering velocity. This isn't limited to Codex/Claude Code, it includes cutting edge agentic development practices.

What we’re looking for

• 1+ years of strong engineering experience building production systems
• Comfortable owning large technical projects independently
• Excellent product instincts and the ability to balance speed with engineering quality
• Enjoys working in ambiguous, fast-moving startup environments
• Excited about building AI-native products
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship/VISA.
