Job Description

Company Description Thahlan Consulting delivers institutional-grade equity research on US markets to investors across the GCC and Arabic speakers worldwide. The firm combines premium institutional data, proprietary and open-source tools, and specialist expertise from CFA charterholders, PhDs, and finance professionals to create rigorous, defensible analysis. Its services include deep-dive equity research reports, sector analysis, portfolio consulting, private consultations, and membership-based market coverage. Thahlan Consulting is currently building an Arabic-first market terminal to provide Gulf investors with real-time US market data, research, and analytics in Arabic. The company operates from offices in New York, Palm Beach, and Riyadh under Thahlan Holdings LLC.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power Thahlan Consulting’s research platform and upcoming Arabic-first market terminal. Responsibilities include implementing robust, scalable, and secure server-side logic, integrating data sources and third-party services, and collaborating with product, data, and research teams to translate financial analysis requirements into technical solutions. The role involves writing clean, well-documented code, participating in code reviews, optimizing performance, and contributing to architectural decisions. The Software Engineer will also help improve development workflows, monitoring, and reliability to support a high-availability, data-intensive environment.
