Overview

Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Conduct regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to validate software functionality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide testing insights.
• Participate in requirements review sessions to ensure testability of features.
• Automate testing processes where possible to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide input on software design and development for better testability and quality.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of testing processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
