Job Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and specifications in order to devise effective testing strategies.
• Participate in regular team meetings, provide updates on testing progress, and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to optimize test execution and reporting.
• Perform root cause analysis on errors and work closely with developers to resolve defects efficiently.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends in software engineering and QA methodologies to enhance testing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and QA best practices.
• Experience with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
