Job Overview

SmartIPlace is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst to join our dynamic Remote team. Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate defect tracking tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders during the development lifecycle.
• Analyze requirements and design specifications to ensure proper test coverage.
• Provide testing estimates and status updates to project teams consistently.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts when applicable.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and understanding of software development processes.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail).
• Knowledge of automation testing tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
