Job Overview

VXForward is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing to validate product quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring issues are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to gain a deep understanding of product features and functionalities.
• Conduct thorough reviews and provide feedback on requirements and design documents.
• Participate in test automation efforts and contribute to scripting automated test cases.
• Monitor and report on software quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing methods.
• Proficiency in test management tools and bug tracking software such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Certification in Software Testing (ISTQB, CSTE, or similar) is a plus.

Technologies & Tools
