Overview

QATPro - Quality Assurance Testing is seeking a dedicated Software Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the production of high-quality software applications through thorough testing methodologies and innovative solutions. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for designing test plans, executing test cases, and identifying defects, contributing substantially to the enhancement of our software products and overall customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design specifications.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions within Agile teams.
• Utilize automated testing tools to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of test results and defects.
• Provide input for continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing methods.
• Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.

Technologies & Tools
