Overview

Gyga Force is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining both automated and manual tests to ensure software quality. The Software Test Engineer will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, thereby facilitating the delivery of high-quality software products.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts based on product requirements.
• Identify and document defects while working closely with the development team to troubleshoot issues.
• Implement automated testing frameworks and improve existing testing processes.
• Contribute to the overall test strategy and documentation.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on best testing practices.
• Monitor and report on testing progress and metrics to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing technologies to enhance testing methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium,JUnit, or TestNG.
• Familiarity with scripting and programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
