Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain various components of Splunk enterprise, like forwarders (universal and heavy), search heads, indexer, deployment manager, license master etc. on RHEL systems on cloud environment
- Configure and monitor data injection and app deployment to Splunk
- Work with Users to create reports and dashboards
- Promote changes created by developers through the SDLC and into the production
- Manage Splunk access following project’s security requirements
- Monitor and report health of Splunk
- Maintain system availability and troubleshoot problems
- Find out areas of improvements
- Establish best practices and standards
- Define, track, and maintain system configuration documents and standards
