About The Role
Woongjin, Inc. is seeking an AI DevOps Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise AI agents and Generative AI solutions. The role primarily serves clients in the consumer electronics and retail industries and combines hands-on AI application development with DevOps and production support. You will work with client stakeholders and technical teams to turn business needs into secure, reliable AI applications. You will also help maintain and improve solutions after deployment, supporting their performance, availability, and ongoing value in production.
Responsibilities
Design and develop custom AI agents, Generative AI applications, and AI-powered automation based on client requirements. Build, test, deploy, monitor, and continuously enhance solutions across development and production environments. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into practical technical designs. Implement and maintain retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, prompt engineering approaches, agentic workflows, tool and function calling, and integrations with large language models (LLMs).
Provide ongoing DevOps and production support, including application monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, upgrades, and incident resolution. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and business workflows. Evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and technologies, and recommend options suited to project requirements. Apply appropriate security and responsible AI practices, including attention to prompt injection, data privacy, personally identifiable information, and access control.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should have at least nine years of experience in software development, AI, cloud, or DevOps, with hands-on Generative AI and LLM development experience strongly preferred. Experience in IT consulting or other client-facing environments is highly desirable. Strong programming experience in Python is expected; experience with Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, or C# is an advantage. Candidates should also have experience developing REST APIs, backend services, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
Qualified candidates bring practical experience with AI agents and multi-step workflows, RAG architecture, document processing, embeddings, vector search, retrieval strategies, and context management. They understand prompt optimization, structured outputs, few-shot prompting, and hallucination mitigation. Familiarity with platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or AWS Bedrock is valuable, as is knowledge of model evaluation, testing, model selection, token and cost optimization, latency, and scalability. Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Azure, AWS, or GCP is expected. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to manage multiple client projects and explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences is important. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
