Overview

The Sr. AWS Cloud & DevOps Architect at McAfee will play a key role in the design and implementation of robust AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex AWS infrastructure solutions to meet business objectives.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve DevOps practices and workflows.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance on best practices and optimization techniques.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and security.
• Lead DevOps initiatives and coaching for team members on cloud technologies and practices.
• Establish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures to support a secure operating environment.
• Engage with service providers and third-party vendors for integration and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
• Strong expertise in using AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, and more.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Sr. AWS Cloud & DevOps Architect will be working with various technologies, including but not limited to AWS services (such as EC2, S3, and Lambda), CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI), containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation), monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus), and various scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
