Overview

The Sr. AWS Cloud & DevOps Architect at McAfee will hold a pivotal role in driving cloud architecture and DevOps practices to enhance the performance, security, and scalability of our services. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure AWS architectures to support business initiatives.
• Optimize and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications and services in the cloud.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance cloud and DevOps practices.
• Establish and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code, automation, and configuration management.
• Monitor system performance and capacity planning for AWS resources.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and cloud architects.
• Conduct security assessments and implement best practices for cloud security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance within cloud environments.
