Job Overview

The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that leverage Microsoft Azure technologies. Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain cloud resources to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of all applications and services.
• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud environments.
• Identify and resolve cloud performance issues through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Establish policies and best practices for cloud governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support during cloud migration projects.
• Train and mentor junior engineers on Azure technologies and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation purposes.
• Strong understanding of cloud services including compute, storage, networking, and database services in Azure.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud configurations and compliance standards.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
