Overview

ClearCaptions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a 100% remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and streamlining operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshooting and resolving issues in our development, test, and production environments. This role requires a deep understanding of software development, infrastructure management, and cloud services, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality performance and reliability across our systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable deployment pipelines in a CI/CD environment.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability and performance.
• Collaborate with software engineers to automate deployment and integration processes.
• Troubleshoot issues within the development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and applications.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production issues.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the DevOps culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Technologies & Tools

The Sr. DevOps Engineer will primarily work with modern technologies and tools, including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform for infrastructure as code, Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, Jenkins for CI/CD, and various monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
