Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure to support application deployment.

• Monitor application performance and system health through appropriate metrics and logging solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD practices, enabling faster releases and feedback loops.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Ensure security best practices are adhered to in cloud architecture and deployment processes.
• Document infrastructure setups, processes, and templates for knowledge sharing within the team.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior team members on DevOps methodologies and Azure services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles, with a focus on Azure cloud services.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and practices, particularly with Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management tools, preferably Terraform or Chef.

Technologies & Tools

The Sr. DevOps Engineer - Azure will be required to work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to: Azure Cloud Services (Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, Git, and various monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
