Overview

BayOne Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Sr. DevOps Engineer to enhance our engineering team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring that our infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. The Sr. DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing DevOps practices, automating processes, and improving the CI/CD pipeline to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently and consistently.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid delivery of software releases.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to design and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize application performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage configuration, deployment, and operations of applications on cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and monitor for vulnerabilities within the infrastructure.
• Assist in the development of automated solutions to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices and tools.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Extensive knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
