Overview

The Sr DevOps Engineer at Natera will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining robust continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance our development and deployment processes. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery workflows.
• Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime and reliability of applications.
• Collaborate with software engineers to streamline and automate development processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, facilitating resource allocation and cost management.
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements into DevOps processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Document systems, processes, and procedures to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and system security.

Technologies & Tools

The Sr DevOps Engineer will utilize a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and various scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
