Job Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer at NEOGOV will play a pivotal role in streamlining our software development processes through effective implementation of DevOps practices. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to optimize the software development lifecycle.
• Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with software development teams to set up and maintain development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards across the DevOps process.
• Manage and deploy applications across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
• Train and mentor junior DevOps engineers and team members on best practices and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps engineer role or similar capacity.
• Proven experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar) to automate tasks.
