Job Overview

W2S Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in the IT consulting space. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate system updates and deployments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
• Collaborate with software developers and system architects to assist in implementing the best practices for deployment technologies.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and perform regular updates and backups as required.
• Implement security protocols and best practices to protect sensitive data and applications.
• Provide technical support during emergency situations, including troubleshooting outages and system failures.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in IT consulting or software development environments.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Extensive experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing technology solutions.
