Job Overview

As a Sr DevOps Engineer/SRE at Veradigm®, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our infrastructure, ensuring the robustness, reliability, and scalability of our applications. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure that supports our applications.
• Automate and streamline operations and processes using configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment workflows.
• Monitor and maintain system performance metrics, diagnosing issues before they affect service availability.
• Implement disaster recovery and failover solutions for critical systems.
• Document processes, services, and system configurations to maintain knowledge sharing across the team.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for production environments.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies that can enhance service delivery and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and frameworks (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, etc.).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will utilize a variety of technologies and tools including but not limited to AWS services (such as EC2, S3, Lambda), Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, and configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform. You will also work with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack for logging and performance tracking. Familiarity with Git for version control and various CI/CD platforms will be essential for executing automated deployments and improving software delivery processes.
