Job Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer/SRE at Veradigm®, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications in a cloud environment. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.
• Automate deployment pipelines and manage CI/CD processes.
• Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and propose necessary improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline project workflows and address issues.
• Manage and optimize configurations for cloud environments, ensuring best practices in security and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical system incident response and support.
• Document processes, architectures, and systems configurations thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, site reliability engineering, or related roles.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will work extensively with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, AWS for cloud infrastructure management, Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment, and Terraform for infrastructure as code. Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) will also be essential to ensure system reliability and performance.
