Job Overview

Veradigm® is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our highly scalable and resilient infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes while enhancing our continuous delivery pipeline. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and monitoring solutions to foster a culture of reliability, performance, and efficiency throughout our systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to facilitate agile development practices.
• Monitor system performance and availability, resolving issues proactively.
• Collaborate with development teams to promote best practices in software development and deployment.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scaling capabilities.
• Automate system configurations and deployments using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
• Implement security best practices and governance across all systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer will utilize a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS or Azure for cloud infrastructure, Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code, Jenkins or GitHub Actions for CI/CD, Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting, as well as Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, is essential for effective collaboration and change management.
