Job Overview

Veradigm® is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud services, automation, and system administration to enhance our infrastructure's reliability and performance. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in software development and operational processes, ensuring the seamless deployment and maintenance of applications while optimizing resource utilization.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless software deployment.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of applications by utilizing metrics and alerts.
• Automate system configuration and management tasks using configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to enhance development workflows and integrate operational considerations in design.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations to address escalated incidents and provide support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer will regularly engage with technologies and tools such as AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda), Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, and various CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with other tools related to monitoring and logging will also be essential for ensuring effective system operations.
