Position Overview

The Sr Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer at nVent is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software and firmware for our innovative product solutions. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware for embedded systems in accordance with product specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software and firmware development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language.
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and embedded systems architecture.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-circuit emulators.
• Familiarity with software development process methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
