Sr. Platform Engineer

A growing healthcare technology organization is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to define and build the future architecture of a fully Azure-based platform. This is a greenfield role where you will report directly to the Senior Director of Software Engineering and have the chance to leave a durable mark on the technical foundation and software delivery practices of the company. The organization manages customer-facing, carrier, and internal applications, including real-time APIs.

What you will do

• Design and implement next-generation architecture on Azure
• Build the software factory: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and reliable delivery practices
• Develop and modernize real-time APIs and services used by customers, carriers, and internal teams
• Work in an AI-native way — modern AI tools and patterns are part of how you design and ship software
• Turn ambiguous requirements into clear architectural decisions and roadmaps
• Partner directly with engineering leadership and raise the bar on how software gets built

What you bring

• Experience designing and implementing architecture from the ground up
• Python
• Azure
• Strong hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
• Comfort with ambiguity and incomplete requirements
• AI-native working style — you regularly use modern AI coding tools in real delivery work
• Experience building real-time or high-throughput APIs and services
