Overview

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Pinterest will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our services. Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable systems for Pinterest's platform.

• Perform incident management and post-mortem analysis to improve system reliability.
• Define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and track metrics to measure system performance.
• Automate common operational tasks to improve efficiency and minimize human intervention.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide real-time support and address availability challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s or equivalent experience is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• Proficient with scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker.
• Solid knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
