Job Overview

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Veradigm® will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based services. This position entails collaborating closely with development teams to design and maintain systems that deliver high availability and efficiency. The Senior SRE will also be responsible for incident management, performance monitoring, system capacity planning, and implementing automation processes to reduce manual intervention while enhancing system resiliency.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure for cloud-based applications.
• Monitor system performance, and proactively address issues related to capacity and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve reliability, and automate manual processes for better efficiency.
• Lead incident management processes and ensure effective root cause analysis and follow-up remediation.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system architecture, processes, and issues.
• Work on performance tuning, scaling, and operating highly available systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard systems and user data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficient in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration solutions like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, system security, and performance optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
