Job Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) at CDK Global, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain systems and infrastructure that ensure high availability and reliability.
• Automate deployment and operational tasks across multiple environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in real-time.
• Collaborate with software development teams to implement best practices for reliability and performance.
• Establish and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
• Analyze and enhance application performance through metrics and monitoring strategies.
• Conduct post-mortems and root cause analysis for incidents and outages.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or site reliability engineering roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration systems.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
