As a Sr. Software Engineer - SRE at CDK Global, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and availability of our software systems. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the deployment of cloud-native infrastructures and services.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, optimizing systems for maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Collaborate with application development teams to integrate and optimize new applications for scalability and performance.
• Automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention and increase reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot incidents in production environments, ensuring solutions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide production support and incident management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures to enhance team knowledge and efficiency.
• Implement disaster recovery solutions and conduct regular testing for preparedness.
• Continuously assess and enhance our monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a Site Reliability Engineer role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• In-depth knowledge of networking, security, and operating systems concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
