Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Selenium.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define QA requirements and ensure alignment on quality expectations.
• Identify defects and issues, documenting them clearly using bug tracking tools, and verify fixes through regression testing.
• Also responsible for coaching and mentoring junior QA engineers to enhance skill sets and foster a strong quality culture within the team.
• Perform exploratory testing, usability testing, and performance testing to ensure application robustness.
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and tooling to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on front-end testing.
• Proven experience with automation tools such as Cypress and Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS required for effective testing of front-end applications.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
