Overview

As an SRE DevOps Engineer at Apptad Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our application infrastructure while enabling continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Your expertise in both development and operations will bridge the gap between these two disciplines, allowing you to automate processes, optimize workflows, and enhance system monitoring to support our mission-critical services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in site reliability engineering and contribute to the overall improvement of our software delivery life cycle.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure for application hosting.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment processes.
• Monitor and support production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Automate operational tasks using configuration management tools and scripting.
• Analyze system performance and reliability to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to create effective service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Participate in on-call rotations to address incidents and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Develop documentation for processes, workflows, and incident response plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
