Job Overview

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer at Mondrian Alpha will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our high-frequency trading systems across multiple strategies in our multi-billion dollar hedge fund. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable system architectures for high-frequency trading applications.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and optimize existing processes to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve application and infrastructure issues.
• Automate routine tasks and streamline operational workflows through scripting and engineering solutions.
• Maintain documentation on system configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, or Apache Mesos.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) and logging systems (ELK Stack).
