Job Overview

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at TEKsystems will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and applications. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate performance and reliability issues.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain system and application performance metrics.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and develop strategies to mitigate future occurrences.
• Enhance the stability and security of systems by performing regular updates and patch management.
• Actively contribute to a culture of Continuous Improvement by proposing new tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of networking concepts and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to performance optimization and reliability.
