Role Description

This is a remote role for an SSA Debt Analyst. The SSA Debt Analyst will focus on analyzing and evaluating debt instruments within Sub-Saharan Africa to identify impact-oriented investment opportunities. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth research on debt markets, assessing financial risks, preparing detailed reports for stakeholders, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with the internal team to support investment strategies that align with B4P’s mission to create both social and financial impact.

Qualifications

• Strong financial analysis, debt market research, and risk assessment capabilities
• Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and use of financial software
• Knowledge of global financial markets, especially Sub-Saharan Africa's debt landscape
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Experience in socially driven or impact investment is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• Familiarity with socially responsible financial frameworks and strategies is advantageous
