SS&C Chorus & Workflow Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SS&C Chorus & Workflow Developer with 6+ years of relevant experience to design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise workflow automation solutions using the SS&C Chorus platform (formerly AWD). In this role, you will translate complex business

requirements into scalable workflow architectures, build dynamic user interfaces, integrate

RESTful/SOAP APIs, and leverage WebFOCUS for Operational Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end workflows and process models using SS&C

Chorus.

● Analyze business and user requirements and translate them into effective technical

solutions.

● Configure and develop Dynamic Forms, UX Builder, Communications, and workflow

components.

● Integrate SS&C Chorus with internal APIs, external applications, and enterprise systems.

● Work with Operational Analytics (WebFOCUS) to support reporting and workflow analytics.

● Manage and manipulate data using SQL and relational databases.

● Perform functional testing, debugging, and performance validation to ensure workflow

accuracy, reliability, and performance.

● Provide production support and troubleshoot workflow and application-related issues.

● Prepare technical documentation, including solution specifications, architecture flows, and

user guides.

● Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

● Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

Technical Skills

● 6+ years of hands-on experience in workflow engineering and process modeling using

SS&C Chorus (formerly AWD).

● Proven experience implementing Operational Analytics (WebFOCUS) for workflow tracking

and reporting.

● Proficiency with Dynamic Forms, UX Builder, Communications modules, and API-driven

integrations.

● Strong database skills, including advanced SQL scripting, relational database

management, and data manipulation.

● Working familiarity with web frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

● Hands-on experience utilizing Postman or SoapUI for API testing, validation, and integration

tasks.

● Experience working with agile toolsets and version control platforms like Azure DevOps

(ADO), Jira, and GitHub.

● Foundational understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure or AWS).

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of creating high-quality

technical documentation and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

● Demonstrated experience in enterprise workflow automation, complex system

integration, and level-3 production support.
