Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available telecom and SMS systems.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline production processes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance system reliability and reduce operational overhead.
• Implement best practices for incident management, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on complex projects.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve our telecom and SMS services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related role with a focus on telecom and SMS systems.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of networking principles and telecommunications protocols.
• Proficient with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
