Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable systems for SMS and telecom services.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure that all operations are automated, efficient, and aligned with development standards.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to promptly identify and respond to incidents.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement preventive measures to enhance system reliability.
• Maintain documentation related to system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical services.
• Continuously improve processes and tools for efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in managing telecommunications services and SMS gateways.
• Strong programming skills in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix-based systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Knowledge of networking principles and telecom protocols.
