Job Description

IDR is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity with 25% travel. This role is integral to optimizing supply chain processes within a dynamic industry, focusing on data analysis, forecasting, and strategic improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Position Overview for the Supply Chain Analyst:

Lead data analysis, forecasting, and supply chain modeling efforts to identify trends, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive operational efficiency.
Evaluate and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on reducing lead times, improving supplier performance, and implementing strategic process improvements.
Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and drive corrective actions when needed.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement innovative solutions to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
Prepare and present strategic recommendations to leadership while leveraging ERP systems, supply chain technologies, and analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements for the Supply Chain Analyst:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of deriving actionable insights from complex datasets.
Proficiency in advance data analysis tools and software, including Excel, Smartsheets, etc.
Deep knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and industry trends.
Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
