Job Description
Surgical Technologist II
supports complex surgical procedures in an academic medical center by preparing and maintaining sterile fields and assisting during operations to ensure aseptic technique and patient safety.
- Prepare surgical rooms, maintain sterile fields, and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff throughout procedures.
- Verify supplies and implants, ensuring correct preparation and readiness.
- Participate in surgical counts and follow established safety protocols.
- Support room setup and turnover to maintain readiness and compliance.
