Job Responsibilities

• Administer and manage system configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting across physical and virtual servers.
• Implement, maintain, and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Perform regular system backups and establish disaster recovery protocols to safeguard data integrity.
• Utilize monitoring tools to track system health and generate reports on performance metrics.
• Install, configure, and manage hardware and software components within the infrastructure.
• Provide support for issue resolution, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining documentation of system changes.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to conduct vulnerability assessments and mitigate system security risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in system administration and support.
• Current and valid security clearance at the required level.
• Extensive knowledge in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of firewall implementations, VPNs, and network protocols.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or equivalent are highly preferred.
