Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Active Directory infrastructure solutions, including Domain Controllers, sites, and replication strategies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Active Directory performance and reliability.
• Implement and enforce security policies, including access controls and authentication methods.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to evaluate and respond to potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Assist in the integration of Active Directory with other systems and applications as needed.
• Provide support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members on Active Directory best practices.
• Perform regular health checks and maintenance of Active Directory services and related infrastructure.
• Document procedures, configurations, and technical specifications for system architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering and administration, specifically with Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory architecture, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and LDAP.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation of directory tasks.
• Knowledge of network protocols and related technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Familiarity with virtualized environments and cloud services is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate is a plus.
