Job Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers and associated applications.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and performance.
• Implement and manage secure system configurations to ensure data integrity and security compliance.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and documentation for systems operations.
• Collaborate with network and database teams to optimize system integrations.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineers and other IT staff.
• Assess and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance systems functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of system virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer, or equivalent are preferred.
