Overview

RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated Systems/DevOps Automation Engineer to enhance our infrastructure and streamline our deployment processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of automated systems that facilitate continuous integration and delivery. This role will require collaboration with various teams to improve our development pipelines, enhance system reliability, and ensure optimal performance of our applications in production environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for infrastructure and service management.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
• Monitor system performance and implement updates to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Conduct regular system audits and assessments to ensure compliance and security standards are met.
• Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams for reference and training purposes.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems as needed.
• Utilize configuration management tools to maintain system consistency and manage environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage complex systems effectively.
